The Toronto Sports Council is a non-profit organization that strives to assist and support the growth of sport. The TSC is recognized by Toronto City Council as the "Voice for Sport" in Toronto. The Toronto Sports Council promotes active involvement in sport and physical recreation and provides a network for sport organizations to share experiences and resources. Colleges offering Sports Administration Programs

There are many sport-related College and University programs available. These programs can lead to employment opportunities in amateur sport, professional sport, special event planning, recreation, fitness and health promotion.

Academic School Designed for Athletes

PEAC School For Elite Athletes - "Where athletes come to learn”.

PEAC School For Elite Athletes integrates academics and athletics; answering the need of high performing athletes by delivering the Ontario Curriculum in small class sizes, with Ontario Certified Teachers and using advanced technology tools.

PEAC's mission is to further the development of Canadian student-athletes and help them become top level performers in their sport, life-long learners and career-oriented, respectful individuals.

PEAC offers daily dry-land training / sport specific training to all student athletes. Students receive nutritional counselling, conditioning and strength training geared to their individual sport. PEAC advantage sports, hockey, freestyle skiing and snowboarding, soccer and figure skating, provides male and female athletes with professional coaches, such as Kay Whitmore of the NHL, and skill development in their sport.

PEAC has 3 school locations, Toronto, Burlington and London and is accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
