SPORT4ALL
Summit
The Toronto
Sports Council is working with SPORT4ONTARIO to host a SPORT4ALL Summit
supported by the Heart & Stoke Foundation of Ontario. The event will take
place on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 from 9am-12 noon at Edithvale Community Centre,
131 Finch Ave
W
(Yonge & Finch).
The
Summit
and will focus on how to engage ethno-culturally diverse populations in sport
and physical activity. Our objective is to highlight promising cultural
outreach practices, and create an action plan for sport and physical activity
providers to respond to

2013 TSC Sport Summit focused on 'Building on the Dream'
Thanks to our special lunch speaker, Olympian and World Champion Hurdler Perdita Felicien, and to all attendees who supported the TSC Volunteer Recognition Awards as well as the Toronto Sports Council Athletes Fund. It is really wonderful to see the level of enthusiasm within the sport community.

TSC partners with Toronto Public Health-Toronto Tobacco Control Network (Read More) |
The TSC in partnership with Toronto Public Health has awarded six $500 grants for local Tobacco-Free Reduction programs. The recipients of the grants are: Abilities in Motion Disabled Kayaking, Flying Angels Track, Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario, Netball Ontario, Boxing Ontario and Toronto Sport & Social Club.
